Your Next Challenge

As a Timber Buyer, you will be responsible for the contact and business with individual forest owners, offering them advice and services that develop their forest ownership. You are the contact for forest owners within your geographical area, and an important part of your tasks is to proactively reach out to forest owners to identify current and future needs for managing their forests. You will meet forest owners both in the forest and at the office, and some of the advice and business discussions will take place digitally.

Through your engagement and drive, you plan your work to achieve your set goals. In addition, the role includes participating in our joint marketing activities. The marketing function has over a hundred employees, and your closest team consists of five other timber buyers and a supportive manager.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is interested in creating and nurturing relationships with forest owners
• Is interested in forestry
• Is motivated by working towards goals
• Is motivated by proactive outreach
• Is comfortable working with a phone and a computer
• Has a valid driver's license (B), we provide a company car

It is an advantage if you have a forestry education and professional experience in forestry and/or sales.
